The trauma of the present COVID-19 pandemic has hit educators and others within the education community hard. The uncertainty, roller coaster of emotions and unfamiliar landscape threaten to bring even the most experienced professionals to their knees.  Now, more than ever, administrators need to focus on supporting the social/emotional health of their staff.  Enter Beth Kelley and her 3-part workshop, Rock Solid Start.  The staff at Central Institute for the Deaf (CID) in St. Louis, MO participated in this uplifting timely workshop.  Beth provided affirmation, strategies and resources that will allow us to begin this unprecedented school year ready to face this new normal. Her calm, confident and empathic nature was just what we all needed to steady ourselves as we prepare to welcome back our students and families. I highly recommend every school administrator consider bringing the gift of a Rock Solid Start to their educational community.

I’m so grateful for Beth Kelley’s guidance and wisdom. This course has not only connected me to a wonderful and supportive group of educators, but it’s given me useful strategies to help navigate what will be a challenging school year.
